Synthesis Neurology and Epilepsy Network Australia run an outreach neurology and EEG service in Albury, so patients in Albury-Wodonga and surrounding towns can be seen closer to home.

What we offer in Albury

• Neurology consultations at Gardens Medical, including first seizure assessment and epilepsy management
• Routine and sleep-deprived EEG at Pemberton Street. GPs can refer directly, and a neurology consultation is not needed first
• Follow-up by telehealth between clinic visits

Travel assistance

If you need to travel a long distance for specialist care, you may be eligible for help with travel and accommodation costs: IPTAAS for New South Wales residents and VPTAS for Victorian residents.

Appointments and referrals

To claim a Medicare rebate you need a current referral from your GP (valid for 12 months) or another specialist (valid for 3 months).
